Ik vond hem wat te traag en aan de manier van filmen moest ik wennen in het begin. Positief is het realistisch, historisch gehalte dat de film bezit, terwijl hij tegelijkertijd niet hervalt tot een saaie les geschiedenis. De waanzin van de Maya's wordt tot slot meesterlijk in beeld gebracht door Mad Mel. Ik beoordeel hem met 3 sterren. Eerlijk gezegd vind ik deze film niet slecht, maar hij kon mij ook niet overtuigen.
