Het Britse filmmagazine, Total Film, hield een maandelange zoektocht naar de meest memorabele filmpersonages aller tijden. De uitslag is nu eindelijk bekend. Uit meer dan 100 jaar filmgeschiedenis kwam fuckin’ Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp in Pirates of The Carribean***) naar voren als favoriete filmpersonage aller tijden van de lezers van Total Film. Ook ik heb me kostelijk geamuseerd met de olijke piraat maar dit is zonder meer een belachelijk resultaat dat getuigt van het ontzettend korte geheugen van de gemiddelde filmliefhebber. Gelukkig zijn er een aantal waardige laureaten in de top 20 terug te vinden zoals John McClane (Bruce Willis in Die Hard*****), Maximus (Russell Crowe in Gladiator*****) en Michael Corleone (Al Pacino in The Godfather*****). Laat vooral weten welke personages volgens jou een plaats verdienen in deze top 100.
