SYNOPSIS: Running Point volgt de ambitieuze basketbalcoach Samantha “Sam” Thompson (Kate Hudson) die de leiding krijgt over een underdog high school basketbalteam. Met de hulp van haar assistent-coach, Lisa (Brenda Song), en de steun van de schooldirecteur, Mr. Anderson (Justin Theroux), probeert Sam het team naar het kampioenschap te leiden, terwijl ze persoonlijke en professionele obstakels overwint.
