Wat een droevig nieuws deze ochtend, MoviePulpers. Chadwick Boseman, acteur van Marvel’s Black Panther maar ook 21 Bridges & Da 5 Bloods is overleden aan de gevolgen van darmkanker. Hij werd amper 43.
“A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much,” his family said in the statement. “From ‘Marshall’ to ‘Da 5 Bloods,’ August Wilson’s ‘Ma’ Rainey’s ‘Black Bottom’ and several more- all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in ‘Black Panther.’”
Welke gevolgen dit zal hebben op Black Panther 2 is nog niet duidelijk, maar uiteraard zullen die ingrijpend zijn. Chadwick Boseman zal nog een laatste keer te zien zijn in Netflix’ Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom met Viola Davis.
